But what if it is outright plagiarism? Last month, I wrote an article, A Guide to Learning Wordpress, where I walk through and supply links to articles describing how to set up and learn Wordpress in the easiest way that I could think of. It must have been a pretty useful article, because it had received more hits than any other article I have written.

Last week, I came across a website, copyscape.com, which searches for copies of your content on the web. After submitting my website, I was shocked to learn that my article was stolen, not copied and reworked, but blatantly stolen, word for word… even the html.

After commenting on the blog owner’s posting to take the article down immediately or post a reference to me, no action has been taken, and so I am writing this article call him out.

However, I’m not the only one who has been plagiarized. If you browse the site, none of his articles are original. One is in the public domain, and two others are stolen:

I’m not one to start crap about other people, but if you do something wrong, you deserve to get caught. Here’s hoping word gets out.
